No More Double Tubes
Due to Safety concerns no tube over 5 ft in diameter will be allowed on the comal river.

No disposable containers or packaging will be allowed on the Comal River

City Council voted to  ban disposable food and beverage containers on local rivers,
confusion about just what is and is not prohibited on the water has run wild, with talk of
alcohol bans leading the list of concerns from both local and visiting tubers – and for the
record the law does not ban alcohol, just the containers it’s factory packaged in.  Tubers
wishing to bring alcohol onto the river will first need to transfer their beverage into a
reusable container. Aluminum cans, plastic bottles, and other disposable items for food
or drink will no longer be allowed on the Comal or Guadalupe Rivers, as of Jan. 1st,
2012.

Here are examples of what you can and cant bring.
